BUSINESS BOUNDARIES

At Peace of Mind, I’ve created a space where you can truly switch off, feel supported, and enjoy your experience—whether you're attending a group class or a private session. To protect that space for everyone, I kindly ask that you read and respect the business boundaries below.

GETTING HERE
If you’re new to Peace of Mind, please plan ahead—my studio can be a little tricky to find at first! Take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the location and parking options so you can arrive calmly, a few minutes before your session starts, and settle in without feeling rushed. I am on Google Maps and my studio balcony has a branded Peace of Mind banner that you will see.

 

EARLY ARRIVALS

If you arrive more than 5–10 minutes before your session, please kindly wait for the studio to open. I take care and time to prepare both myself and the space, so it’s ready to welcome you with calm, clear energy. Please protect my peace, so that I can protect yours.

LATE ARRIVALS
Life happens—I get it! As a solo business owner and parent, I know how
unpredictable things can be. That said, late arrivals can affect the experience of the group and my ability to hold space. To ensure everyone gets the most from their session, please honour the start time and the following guidelines:


GROUP CLASSES
Classes are thoughtfully planned with care and intention to support everyone
attending. Please help us maintain a calm and respectful environment by being
mindful of timing.

 

  • Studio classes: If you're running more than five minutes late, I kindly ask that you access the recorded catch-up instead. This ensures the group experience remains undisturbed.
     

  • Zoom classes: Your late arrival won’t impact the group, but please let me know in advance so I’m not waiting to start, wondering if you're having tech trouble or need support.


PRIVATE 1:1 SESSIONS
 

  • Your session starts at the agreed time. If you arrive late, that time is unfortunately deducted from your session—it can’t be extended or carried forward.
     

  • If I haven’t heard from you within 10 minutes of the start time, I’ll assume it’s a no-show and the session will be cancelled.


CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
If you can't make it, communication is key. Here's how it works:

 

  • Group classes: If you’re unable to attend, please let me know. A no-show impacts me and the group. I’ll be holding a space for you, and may delay starting or feel unsettled not knowing if you’re okay.
     

  • 1:1 sessions: You’re welcome to cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, as this time is reserved just for you and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice.


MESSAGE & PHONE CALLS
As someone who pours heart and energy into both work and family life, I aim to stay fully present with whoever I’m with—whether that’s a client or my children. To help me maintain that balance, I ask that messages and calls are kept within business hours. If you contact me outside those times, I may not see your message until the next working day. By sticking to this, you help ensure I can show up fully for you, too.

These boundaries are here to protect the well-being of everyone in our
community, including you—and I truly appreciate your understanding. They
reflect how much I care; protecting my energy and what I am able to give each and every client that I work with.
